Reflection Time
After reading the Christmas Story from: Matthew 1: 18- 2:23
download the following PowerPoint file called 'Meet The Cast' and either watch it yourself or watch it with a group.
Personal reflection
* In the Christmas Bible passages you've studied, consider what each person felt and reacted;
* ‘Who do you say I am?’ - What is your response? Have you ever thought about it?
* Have you ever come up with an answer that you can say out loud with confidence?
* Are you willing to tell someone who you think Jesus is?
Challenge
* Tell someone today who you think Jesus is, and be willing to explain why.
Group reflection
If you've been studying the Christmas Story with a group then:
* Read the bible passages out loud together
* Ask the group to consider each character
* Ask each other ‘Who do you say I am?’
* Give space for people to respond
* Tell the group who you think He is. Use your own personal story of faith to explain this.
* If suitable, divide the group into pairs to talk about this and to pray for each other
